If it is good for him and you, go and visit him.
Yes, its 'easy' in life to loose a job, wife, friends etc. Many people dont realise. Sad to hear that somebody needing help ( using drugs ) and an attempted OD ends up in prison. He needs help.
Just go Stan, listen to your heart.

Thanks for the dedication, just found it. I have fallen behind a little lately. I am making plans to go to Spokane, Wa. to see my son. He is in prison for a year and have not seen him since the day that he was arrested out of the hospital. He tried a drug OD after losing everything he had to drugs and then becoming homeless. Was in a coma for 4 days before he came to. I drove to pick him up at the hospital and when I got there he was in the back of a police car. Got to see him for 3-4 minutes before he was taken away. It has been a hard year for me this year. My photography has helped take the edge off.
