Hi Nick, thanks for the comment! Yes this is a mountainous region, on the Eastern slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, near Banff, Alberta. Dave.

Very very "fresh and juicy" details of all that greenery, Dave! The composition does get the overall atmosphere very well in both senses: The forest itself, and then also the perceived atmosphere when walking on that path.
The long shadows could be a but more pronounced as they indicate so well how dense the vegetation is. However, considering the fact that lowering the exposure value would probably weaken that diffuse light on the background, your balance between the two was about perfect. Speaking of that kind of diffuce sunlight on the background, that's always the case on sunny days over mountains type of forest. So, is that a mountainous region?
Cheers!
Nick

Looks like a wonderful walkway my dear Dave and probably loaded with photographic opportunities. Lovely pastel greens to the leaves and vegetation with beautiful bursts from the sun filtering through the canopy and splashing the scene with light. Well done to you my friend for a great landscape. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

I love secluded trail photos. Maybe you can go back and film again when there is snow. See, now you have an excuse to visit again. Maybe one also in the fall when the colors are out? Del.

Very good composition, exposure and color. Maybe there were clouds in the background that kept the sky from burning out? I do not feel comfortable because it looks like you are about to get drenched. Nice Shot.

Nice shot, and very nice lighting because of the well balanced exposure, even the back areas with the more lighting being exposed very well here, perfect shot.
