Yes a fine flower and capture. Got some new flowers blooming out back that I planted last year. I guess they were fall flowers. Excellent image on this one.

Another big thankyou my dear Bobot. I took the decision last year to sell off all my extraneous equipment and travel 'light' with one lens to tackle all situations. The lens, as you know, is far from light and unless I am in a hurry with a quick shot I use a tripod almost all the time. I set great store by your visits as you give a wonderful in depth comment has to how a shot catches your eye; a man after my own heart.

I had to looks at the equipment you use to capture this magnificent beauty.. wow, my dream lens!! I was able to borrow same lens from a friend before and it didn't want to leave my camera.. but had to give it up. great clarity here Ray and the Dof you used is just right.. I can feel the softness of the petals, great details seen..
