About I post this one because I am in bad need for advice. I have the impression that it does have the potential to get much better, but I really messed it up. So, what are its problems? I'd be glad again for any tips.

I'll try to do that by exposure settings, Nuno! Let's hope it'll get better then.

Cheers!

Yes, you have to alter colours somewhat.

I meant the problems of composition, of DoF, of coloring, and in general of not quite conveying the kind of view of the scene, Kiarang.

Cheers!

If only that sense were also burned adequately on the film frame, Avi! :-(

Many thanks and cheers!

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, Nuno!

Well, in case we had a neon sunlight around here I would go for that, really. But under nirmal sunlight this looks like an image mixed up with a phosphoresce marker paint. It's too much, you know?

Still I think I get quite right the *direction* toward you sent me. I'll have to try that again many many times until something nice comes out.

Cheers!

again I get that sense of summer. THAT, and that alone is enough to make this shot ! cheers !!

Thanks a lot Zohre!

Hmm, not as "well done", really! It needs much more refinement and so I am glad for the couple of real ideas that the people came up with.

Cheers!

Rotated 10° clockwise after Dave's idea

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, and much much more for the suggestion, Dave!

I rotated it 10° clockwise. (Attachment) Indeed it won something for me. So, your idea together with Valerij's are two valuable hints for what to do when I try something similar again.

Let's see if some more ideas arrive.

Cheers!

Thanks once more, Valerij!

Good idea, it really improved it! So, let's keep it in mind and see what other ideas might come up too. Perhaps at the end something more could be said about how to make it better.

Cheers!

Thank you very much, Kiarang!

Hmmm... I see an image that was shot under such an intention, Kiarang, but it came out full of problems. And I don't know how it could be done better.

Cheers!

The colors of the scene were indeed nice, Erland! But unfortunately it seems to me that I wasn't able to integrate them in a good composition that does justice to that place. Still I don't know what could be done better here.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot again, Aykaan!

I am quite puzzled with this one, really! I simply don't know how I could make it better.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot again, Aziz!

I don't know if the DoF was really appropriate. In fact I don't know much at all about this one. ;-)

Cheers!

I like the colour and texture contrasts, Nick, possibly if the line was more diagonal it would help the composition.

Potential? Maybe it's something about Rule of Thirds? Here's what I think -

I see a very different vision of nature here which showes an abstract in your portfolio.

bonne idée aussi de garder une ligne nette sur un 1er plan de l'image.. tout en laissant 2e plan dans le flou... ainsi on joue avec l'abstraction des couleurs et des lignes...
bel ensemble..;

salutations cher ami..
