Spheres that will break

The protected passage

Life on wood and snow

And it was raining cats and dogs

The light is on the other side

Useless choises

The protected passage

Melancholically painted city

A tree at the side entrance

Winter solitude

Of course! Why should I be satisfied with singing hymnes to "beauty" and capturing cheap average (or even worse) images in order to listen to the usual empty "ooohhs" and "aaaahs"? Better to keep on trying to get some steps ahead, and there are more than enough steps ahead of me.

So, the trip into the realms of photography is exciting - and I really mean exciting and not the usual cheap "ooohhs" and "aaaahs".

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Dave!

I am also glad about the details on the whites. The swan was actually watching me with curiosity all the time but the way they hold their head when they want to take a more careful look, namely turning it to the side, made it really look as if it was getting ready to go into the water.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot Harry!

Fuji is OK for me, though it sometimes tends to "overexcite" everything. It needs a bit of, let's say, a "stronger leading hand" like horse with a wild temperament that would only run at maximum speed all the time. But of one puts a bit of control upon it, it can get you almost everywhere.

BTW, I guess you like again what you described in your reply about "Who's watching whom"?

Cheers!

Very nice detail in the whites, Nick! I like the pose you've captured, too, it looks like he's trying to get up the nerve to jump in!
