My sweet friend, isnt it wonderful to see this lonely tree in the middle of sand and desert, but it was really there, no manipulation...lolll
The contrast was wonderful, with the blue sku and red sand...hoping your day was fine!!

I am sure this does bring back memories dear Nicki, I loved being there, and have the feeling I want to go back to this part again! But its difficult, there are so many places which are nice, isnt it?
I am so happy and excited you will visit China for 3 weeks, it must be a wonderful ecperience to see all these famous places, those will bring most amazing shots, you only have to wait for 3 months...which goes fast, cant believe its almost September!
My lunch was chips and mayo...loved it..lolll:))

Just beautiful my dear Jen and wonderful memerories are coming back while I have a look at this capture!!!So very impressive colors and details!!It looks so amazing to see the tiny people going on the top!It is not easy to go through the sand.Did try it out??

You're too sweet to agree with anyone else, Harry thinks I have to crop the under part, which wasnt a road at all, but part of the desert, The tree made the sand looking more redish, there were hundreds like these dunes, wonderful!

The dunes are moving by the wind, if you stay at the top you see all those dunes around you, even in different colours, watching the sunrise at 5, its like paradise, just water is missing:) Thank you my dear friend, sleep well! Jen

Have you been at Sossusvlei dear Paul? Its drom the campsite still 1½ hour driving to get at these hills, getting up at 4 to see the sun coming up in the morning...such different experience! To climb up is a different question, I would love to try this again some day:)) Have to excersize a lot before:) Sleep well dear, warm dreams and hugs, Jen

With this special POV of trees and their shadows it is really very clever to have sharply focused people as puppets on the background and some gravel at the foreground as a reference. I like this composition and the really beautiful natural environment captured.
