About An attempt to get the swan in the own environment rather than zooming in for a "portrait". Any comments would be very welcome.

Thanks a lot for the reply, Aziz!

Well, I had to ask you if this is what you thought in order to be sure. Now that I Know what you meant, I must say that it looks also good to me. Still I find the original better in this case because that land part looks much like hovering in endlessness there. On the cropped image this look is less strong for me.

Cheers!

Welcome back, Gustavo!

Well, the atmosphere was rather fresh and relaxed, but hard for me to say if the image caught that atmosphere.

Cheers!

Of course it works, Avi! Most people prefer the horizontal one but for me this one works very well too. Much like "adjusting the real landscape according to your vertical frame", as I said to Dave too.

Cheers and thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot Dave!

The horizontal is indeed the one that looks more "natural". This one is more some kind of "matching the landscape to the own design". Something like that.

Thanks a lot Aziz!

Well, let's see! Do you mean something like the attachment? Or rather to take more of the earth and less of the sky?

Cheers!

Cropped off much of the sky

Un bello momento, con un toque muy romántico.
Estoy de regreso luego de varias semanas muy ocupado.

Nos estamos viendo!

A good environmental shot, Nick, although I like the landscape orientation a little better here, to include more of the misty background.

So beautiful, I suggest to reduce from sky share, ...
