Excellent play with DOF auntie. Nice soft colors. As other said here alway shoot the same pictures a few times playing with the DOF, I find that is especially helpful when flower is your subject. You will see a big diference in the shots because of the DOF.

Yes,I do agree with you,and I have some different versions of this flower,but this one has some wonderful mood , and I really do love this pic.It's even on my pc as wallpaper ....maybe I am in that kind of mood today..little bit dark ..

Same feeling dear harry...do I get up or give up - every morning...but,it's ok..do you remember I told you about life path and destiny ..I think I am part of some big plan written in stars..maybe my far away cousin was too nasty,and this is a punishment,or it's just things which happened....
and yes,life is no fair,but ..we must try to enjoy in it :)))and try to find some sense of humor,as we very often do....
and yes,little pray is ok :))

Sorry to hear abt the arthritis. It must be a hell to get up I assume. You dont deserve that bcse your a kind person.
I am also honest: I have a bad depression and contusio cerebri and I dont WANT to get up in the morning, already tired before the day begins, legs hurt, sleepless nights etc and " i wish i were dead" stuff.
Life is not fair Biljana, is it ok if i pray for you ?

The better thing is to take some shots with different shutters and apertures. Compare with!
Then the choice is your according your mood.
Anyway I like the play of dof
and as work green/purple colors in the overall.

Speed depens on focal width.
For zoom = 1 , speed above 1/25 or 1/50
for zoom = 12 , speed above 1/250 or 1/500
All approximately.

Just put ISO 200 or 400
JPeg fine or Tiff
Aperture mode:
-sky, plane, horizon f/3.5
-macro f/10 to f/20
-portrait f/10
-landscape with f/g f/10
It takes time to learn, so dont apologise
It took me a year to have it really working
I think you are doing fine.
And the I should marry you because I like to see the same beautiful face in the morning as in the eve ;-)

In this context i think you do fine, jus a bit more dof would be nice ( aperture from f/3.5 to f/10 of f/20.

Yes , I know..little more contrast,little more color...maybe..but I just wanted to see how it works just with my cam.I am beginner ,I must learn a lot about photography,and about my camera settings...cause that I need opinions on straight picture,without make up...to know how things works here...
That was my intention....
