Excellent shot, I can feal the speed here of the runner...and very good placement for the man on the right side of the image so he...has free area into the frame to run... that effect is a must for me... well seen in sepia too.

A fine documentary shot of the game, Pablo, and your toning has added an "old time" feel to the shot. I like the expressions of the older players on the sidelines, no doubt judging the younger fellow and comparing him to their past performances!

the contrast is nice,
the movement is nicer,
the rhythm from left to right and right to left is strange but understandable...
details even blurry still are perfect... because in this shot,if had those details very well focused it could not be as worthy and fine as it looks like now...
the seriousness of the player and people staring at his action is quite astonishing and it really attracts me...
So it's successful shot in terms of conceptual communication,and influences on the visitor(I AM)...

your shot is simple but very sophisticated...
