:-) It's possible that the colour tone of the sand is not what I have in mind and I expect lighter sand, it's just matter of perception based on what I know. Could you please send me a colour version by email?

Excellent contrast in this shot,definately my favourite in this series.Not sure whether I'd have included the heavily footprinted foreground but it does give more depth and texture to the shot.To give a feeling of an unspoilt wilderness I'd have made the shot more of a pano. and cropped to just below the first clump of reeds including in the photo that post on the exteme right which nudges the eye back to the main scene.Excellent photo Ania.

To nasze wydmy w słowińskim Parku Narodowym na krótko przed zachodem słońca. W oryginale tez całkiem całkiem, ale dopiero w b&w nabrały wyrazu...tak sobie przynajmniej myślę;)

I like it very much dear Ania, the sand plays like a great canvas upon which the bushes, rock formations, footsteps and pieces of wood draw a very interesting abstract. The dramatic sky balances the composition very well adding interesting shapes like brush strokes to the otherwise plain sky. As your previous picture, I'm left longing for more highlights...

And thank U for Your advice, but it's rather impossible - I've worked with levels and contrast and the sand can't be lighter, because it unfortunately looses details in the right ( under the first hill).

Very well composed and taken shot Ania. Great detail in the sky and sand.
I suspect that this shot could be even more dramatic if you increased the contrast and exposure to the point where the exposure of the sand is almost blown out but without loosing detail.
