About These two oncillas (also known as tiger cats, I don't know why O_O ) live in Prague Zoo (Czech Republic) and come from South and Central America. It's a rare species, in nature as well as in zoos. In this part of Europe these two are the only ones in Zoo, so I'm glad that I had the possibility to see them and capture on a photo where they are looking at each other. They are so agile!

Dear Saad, well, I just do what I can (and what I should!)do :) : try to pay people's attention to these wonderful animals, help a little to WWF Polska with their project of saving our Polish lynx... and feed the homeless domestic cats ;) I hope that one day I'll be able to do more for nature and wildlife. Thanks very much for your nice words; regards, Ania

dear Ania,if the doesn't care about the nature he live on,he will stand alone on this planet, and all other creatures will end in the museums, thus in this way the human will kill all his partners, imagine how nice the human race is.thank you for your efforts, and please carry on,my very best regards to you,Saad.

Thank you for your comment, Saad. Yes, you're right, for me it's so hard to understand why do so many people causes such a disaster to animals :(
When I was in Prague, I took a few more photos of oncilla; I've chosen here this one beacause it's the most interesting I think, with two cats looking at each other :] It also appeared in a Polish monthly magazine with my article about this species.

According to ISIS site, only 10 Zoos in the world have oncillas... And they are very rare in nature, because of destruction of forests and because of people who kills them for their fur ;(

Yes, you're right, Gustavo. If I only could, I would take a photo closer and from higher, then it would be much better... but I'm just too short ;)
Thank you for your comment!

this is very painful, you see a very nice and beautiful animal and some one told you that its the last of its kind, or its the only one in EU,or it is an endangered species.I suggest to take more photos about this magnificent creature to show its beauty and thus encouraging its preservation,my very best for showing and sharing, Saad.

Una toma interesante, solo te observo que el gran tronco tan en primer plano molesta un poco.

Un abrazo!
