The BIP award was more than deserved alone for the maginificent reflections on brass, Peter! The whole scene is so well visible in distortion of the funel's surface!
The light balance appears to me extremely well adjusted on this one. And not only in the sense of dynamics range but also for the consistent warm tones all over the image. Everything seems to have to do with the warm tones of the instrument!
Add the special timing on a very concentrated moment of the musician, and the tight frame that you chose, and it's perfect!!

Schitterend de kleuren , reflecties en de toetermeneer met paarde staart . Congrats !
Kleine opmerking, bovenin het binnneframe is het witte gedeelte verterkt of het was wit door de crop.
Zou voor my POD mogen zijn.
