Thanks Gerhard, I was indeed a smiling spectator as well while I saw this. Many other amusing events happened, weird people popped up, during my visit to the Edinburgh Festival last August. I could capture many of these because I felt happy, quickly acting and amused as well. Greetings, Paul

Thank you Harry. I knocked him already on the head but he kept smiling. Worse it did not impress her at all. My experience in making this kind of candid shots while unfortunately being noticed is that the male part might develop very aggressive behaviour feeling insecure to loose her in some way to me. Mostly I have to calm by explaining just to take a "picture" not taking "her" :-)

He is wearing a helmet and cannot see the beauty. Or he is blind or ....... ? Thanks for sharing the nice view ;-) Next time take your 'goedendag' weapon with you and knock the guy on the head. He wont notice.
