Oh, wait, Saad! Me and tutor! Not the best choise, really!

I only say what I see and think, that's all. I guess you'd do very well with yourself as the only tutor.

Cheers!

Nick

Well, Saad, for being not your style you did that considerably well! You could continue on this direction along with your other subjects too.

Still I don't thing that the window does anything special. For me it is the faucet (near) and the chair (far) that define the image. The rest is "some background" to me.

Cheers!

Nick

hi,thank you Nick for suggestion and for the crop,as I stated in the about this not my style, when I wanted to shot the photo,I wanted the three objects to appear in the shot to form some concept, cause I figured that the faucet and the chair is not enough,so I included the window to strengthen the subject,my regards.

Unusual, very unusual and thus refreshing angle of view, Saad! The good separation of your main subject from the background is a plus here, as it allows the spectator to concentrate on your object of choise. For me this enhancement of the main object would be further supported by a tighter crop of the top (attachment), which at the same time also reduces the amount of highlights and makes the shadow more dominating, in which the main object stands.

Just a question out of curiosity though, how can that faucet be used at all? It is only some cm over the ground.

Cheers!

Nick

Suggestion for a crop

Saad Salem Saad Salem   {K:89003} 6/28/2008
thank you dear for visiting and recommendation, but just for your knowledge the temperature yesterday was 40C at the time of capturing, the sun ray is very bright, and I wanted the walls to appear as well, here with attachment you could see the result of larger aperture, accept my best regards.

I like you aproach a lot. Capturing something simple in a different way always makes a picture. The only thing what bothers me is the chair in the BG and using more DOF by opening the aperture would have been better in this case. But that is only my opinion.
Never the less, even though I give my recommandations it still gave attention to me.

that's an amazing faucet. there is a sense of story between the chair and the faucet. good depth of field. may peace come to your country, there are things in iraq I would like to see when we live in a better age

This shot can be kind of conceptual work.
The quality of the photo is good.
I suggest to continue the frame from bottom of the shot.
best regards
Aziz
