About I don't know if the three on the bottom left are enough separated from the otherwise just grey look of the city. I thought that it would work, if I could manage to give them some emphasis with a slightly "concentrated" DoF at their place. Any ideas?

I think it was possible, Dave, though I can't really remember if I would then also take a part of the window behind which I was shooting. I see what you mean anyway. Another try from that Café will turn better if I have some people there but nearer the thirds position.

Many many thanks!

Nick

It is ineed taken behind the window glass of the Café where I was sitting, Gustavo. This contributed also to the out of focus regions, of course, but the main reason is that I opened the aperture too wide and the set a longer exposure time for the low light conditions. Concentrating the available DoF around the three people at the lower left seemed to be a good possibility for an "aged" look.

Thanks a lot once more!

The fact that they are not in motion, and therefore no motion blur also serves to separate them from the other pedestrians, Nick. Possibly a little different crop to place them more in the "thirds" position, if that was possible.
Dave.

:-), se nota que la tomaste detrás de un vidrio, bueno yo la encuentro un poquito movida o tal vez desenfocada.
Un abrazo!
