Thanks Nick for very helpful and well thought comments.
As far the sharpness is concerned , you are right , but the little child was moving around so fast and i couldn't predicted when (and where)he was going to stop next.
I wished i had another opportunity.
I have posted this photo to show that things change, admittedly slow,in South Africa.Few years ago it was unthinkable for a white middle class kid to associate with anything Black let alone the leaders for Freedom.
The statues are of Desmond Tutu,Nelson Mandela,F.W.DeKlerk(all Nobel Peace Prize laureates) and another person that i do not remember his name.

The composition and above all the timing is very good, Andreas! It contains much perspective bith in the geometrical as also in the sense of conveying atmosphere. The contrast of today and yesterday is strongly depicted in form of the statues and the boy. The reference to the past from the point of view of today is also well enhanced by the usage of a B&W film.

But sharpness is lowest exactly on the main subject, the front statue and the boy, while curiously enough the rest is in focus. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
