I'm so glad I told you where these were Tony, you even picked the same spot as I did. :) We live just a little further down the valley near the next Ave bridge which we can see from our roof terrace.
Excellent lines and PhotoShop work!

Actually we're probably going to have an airport here as well so Antequera, being right in the centre of Andalucia, will be-and already is-extremely well connected. The train is really useful and really is no more of a visual intrusian than it has ever been but having an airport just outside the city could be a problem depending on whether approach routes are right over the city or not.

Before I read your comment, I was going to say it looks as though they're growing underneath a motorway. But now I see it's the new high speed railway. So, this construction is passing close by you? I've seen it from the air, and am really in two minds about it. It is creating an indelible scar across the countryside, and will bring noise and visual intrusion to once remote places. I wonder if this is really less environmentally damaging than aircraft. On the other hand, it should provide an economic boost to those places where stations are constructed (if that in itself is a good thing...)
As such, these wonderful sunflowers provide a fitting contrast of nature against man-made infrastructure.

Thank you for commenting Stan. The background was changed by selecting, switching it to BW and then adding a touch of grain. The construction on the left is for a high speed railway line

Nice composition. I like the depth and the background change of texture. How was that done? Looks cool to me. That front flower is really a ham. Well done, Stan
