You've got great separation from the BG, it's just the light spot near her necklace that IMO doesn't belong in this capture, I didn't mean darken the whole lot just this little bit

funny thing, searching through endless material on 'uf' looking for a photograph and there is always one there somewhere, this time it is 'sophie', that beam ( I think it is?) on her left is causing me some anguish, while it 'holds' the angle of her head I can't help wondering if it spoils an outstanding portrait, little I know about portraits except that one looks and likes, or not, we know this is an outstanding photograph but her look is beautiful, far away and extremely sad, beneath the composure and dignity of manner, poise some call it but that always sounds like fish. well done Peta, please continue to remind us all of what the art of photography is about and that an ugly pile of bricks on the ground is not a building! cheers, david.

Admirable work Peta. I like the contrast between the model and the background. I miss the finer tones on her skin though, seems slightly washed. Otherwise a great portrait and hopefully not your last in this style. Regards.

I really like your use of contrast in this shot with her face in the light and her body fading away into the shadows. Very reminiscent of "Interview with the Vampire"
