Taken a week ago... You can just see the third youngster's eye between momma and the chick on the right. Tough spot to shoot, as the light is ALWAYS on the wrong side of the tree/nest, but they are very cooperative subjects.
Hi Dave - Thanks very much... No, in all my trips past there, I have only ever seen the single owl on the nest prior to the chicks hatching, and no sign of him on this trip either. Sorry for the delayed response - I haven't had time to even open my stuff in the past couple of weeks for more than a minute or two at a time... Thanks again, Kerry
