Hello my dear friend, good to hear from you as always. I enjoy reading your comments so much, you always give me a new perspective to enjoy my own images so thank you for that. Yes, Rosalia de Castro was a Spanish write and poet, she was famous for writing in the Galician language. Her poetry is market by almost an ineffable combination of nostalgia, longing and melancholy, truly touching in my opinion.
Thank you for continuing to inspire me with your words my dear Anson.
Extra hugs for the weekend :)
Julie.

The black tubular columns form a boundary for me between my reality and my imagination, Julie, which together beckon me onto the path toward that beautiful garden. They invite me to open my imagination further, as well as my eyes and my other senses. A beautiful, mysterious image, which grows on me more as I look at it. Very appropriate verse from Rosalia de Castro; is she a poet, Julie. Hugs for the weekend, dear friend. Anson

If you come back, please please tell me. There are many wonderful places in NY that a tourist would never think of go because they aren't widely advertised. The NYBG never closes, in December inside the conservatory they have the most magnificent train show, it is basically NYC made out of botanical items with a rain running thru it, so amazing! I would love to show you around Nicki.
Yes, those were tulips. Thank you so much for your feedback my dear friend.
Big hug,
Julie.

Thank you dear Michele. I am so happy you like it. That quote has been a favorite of mine for a long time and I thought it was perfect for this shot :)

NYC is wonderful but there's so much more to our area than the concrete jungle people are used to seeing. Our gardens are beautiful, I wish more people took the time to visit them. Still waiting for your visit my dear friend :)

Big hug,
Julie.

WoW Julie another stunner !! What a beautiful path to choose from and perfect 'about' -
Excellent colors and great angles --

Every time I see your images of NY - I am more impressed with your city !!
No one shows these parts so much - mostly just the tall buildings and hustle of crowds -
This is awesome !! 7++++++++++++++++++++
Hugsss, Michele~
