All of them? Wolf, I tell you, half of them are always in the laundry basket! ;-)

Cheers!

2x3 meters? I don't think that my pants would provide such a huge amount of fabric! ;-)

The method you refer too does work many times. It is one of the many methods for a good image with a "different" perspective.

Cheers!

It was a denim cloth approx 2x3 meters. It still needs to be ironed hahha.
What I learned is that the best images usually do not show the whole subjct but are made up by a smaller crop putting details in a different perspective.

Denim! Thank you for that, Wolf! Now I know what my old pants can be used for!

A very interesting story about the way you made the image! Take each good thing that appears on the way, and go for it - so it seems to me!

And of course less is more. I'd sign that anytime!

Cheers!

Thanks Nick.
The b/g is thick denim cloth hanging against the wall for making photos. We had a photoshoot.
The woman was free to show her own expression and by coincidence a picture arose. Only later I found that this crop was what I was looking for.

In general, more is less, less is more :-)

Again a very carefully arranged composition/crop that swims in the waters of modern photography without neglecting the "older school". I find the combination of the more "modern" sudden cuts with the "aged" look of hue and detail very succesful here!

The reduction to the minimum only strengthes the focus on the important. It acts much like an abstraction in the sense of admiring the Brassica rapa - which in itself sound and looks like a scene of absurd theater, but also reminds me of our immediate dependance on the important! Food, air, water - anything of real value. (Not price! ;-)) And in its own way it has something that reminds me also of the insane poses of Dali on photographs.

I find the strong contrast against that background very well fitting the subject at all, but what is that background, Wolf? It simply looks like the best possible background for supporting the strong contours of the hand of the person.

Last question: Did you directed the man to stand this way in front of your camera? But it is really creative in the best sense, be it arranged or snapshot.

Cheers!
