As another poster noted, you get a very interesting and well realized effect with the black and white treatment. Nice work.

Hi Del, What a cute gester! :) I won't mind if leave few comments on my photos! The walk was awesome and I think I've walked the whole Tidal Basin. There are so much things to see in D.C. and I never get tired of 'em. I see you're living in Vienna. I've been there several times- the most recent one was last month, and I love it there. Overall Northern Va and D.C. are so beautiful places to live in. Thanks Del for your comments. Have a great rest of the day! Regards, Mitra

I swear this is my last comment on this particular photo. I started intending to thank you for identifying my Hydrangea photo and saw your cherry blossoms and got side tracked. I notice I even got my fingers mixed up on the spelling of "title". Oh well, thank you for the information. Del.

I live near Washington and this was the first time in many years I never walked the circle around the tidal basin at cherry blossom time. I have posted numerous cherry blossom photos in the past but never thought of posting any in B&W. The result is very effective. This one looks like it might be from a walk along Ohio drive toward Hains Point. Thanks for sharing. Del.

My Dear Friend Mitra. Marhaba! In mystic way soufism, On the first hand you must say "Selam" and the second is "Kelam". Marhaba is "Selam"(salutation) and "Kelam" is word, talking. Both of them given only with heart. Without heart does no make any sense. B/Ws shots has another sentiment if they taken that kind of peaceful and quiet lands. Photographer heart makes the the shots extraordinary. I loved this park. I heart its name from one of the my friends who visited Washington DC. Now I am seeing with your eyes. I loved it. Beeing there, sitting under the trees with blossoms. Looking to the calme waters. And having the ability to freeze this moment. Yes really Mitra, this is a romantic place. Warm Regards to my dear friend. "Selam" to your dady ALI
