the texture of mildew stands beautifully in contrast with white rushing waters of the waterfall; and you have spotted that and came up with this composition that is so appealing, integrating the very crucial elements of the surrounding- the man fishing (i believe trout), the waterfall, and the tree in the foreground which i find a brilant idea.
in addition to your about part of the image, i would say that there is a natural circle of essential similarities between whatever phenomena of the nature; be it man or a tree, dog or river- they all have a starting point, progression and then 'die'/ dive into another element.
for my part, i can freely say, that i am usually amazed with the flaw of things- and rivers just do it.
well you have captured that fascinating part of nature,

We are home from the surgery and even though it did not go as smoothly as hoped, he is okay, and at least they let me be with him as much as possible. Thank you for the good wishes.:)

This is truly awesome! Great composition and exposure. The fisherman in this scene really gives this photo a sense of scale, although it's hard to imagine that there are fish under all that pounding water! 7/7

GREAT shot from this beautiful landscape!I like waterfalls too!!Wonderful vivid colors and so nice to see all the moss!The fisherman looks so very tiny against the huge waterfall:)I can almost hear the noise from the water!
