I am having problems with keeping images to the 400 pixel limit NOW Doyle - sometimes UF just won't accept my images any bigger - so what to do (?) I like them as big as I can get them - and sometimes I can get them waaaaaaaay big - other times 'nope' .....
This happened to me once before - when I first got the new computer- then the problem disappeared by itself...seems it's back again . When it rains it pours and it's pouring right now - Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa:((
Thanks for the info as I didn'y know I could get them bigger these days -

I have got a very bad problem going on with my settings and if I can't find my book in
English ..I just don't know - maybe some help on the computer but definitely I do need HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried to change the exposure and now I am totally in the DARK ...literally and mentally -haha!!
I wish I could say that the settings were because of post editing ---- But they aren't :(
I guess I just lucked out the way that things went on that day -ha!!
You give the BEST comments and help available here on UF - Thank You !

Oh, btw . . . picture size is being reduced a bit more than necessary . . . some of us old fogies like 'em bigger . . . ummmm . . . I mean some of THEM old fogies like 'em bigger . . . you can go up to 850px and you're about 1/3 smaller. :)

Just kidding my backside! It IS a loveshack. And yes, I have some advice about which image looks best (what a shocker, eh)? The posted shot blows away the other shot IMO. Adding the water layer gives too many layers and distracts from the seriously romantic view of the posted image (Lighting and editing is better too). Michele . . . is it just me or wouldn't this shot make a darned good jigsaw puzzle too?
Freaking SPOT-ON composition with the shack on the lower, left level . . . and the focus is on it and not the foreground foliage one would normally see on auto-settings. Now FIX your exposure compensation settings! -4.3 step? Or is this a result of post editing? It's effecting your settings and I think you're rapidly reaching a range limit . . . this F/8 shot is at 1/3200 sec . . . SUPER fast. The Aperture priority is setting the speed based on the aperture.
Or . . . whatever. Hard to argue with the results here. Excellent shot! 7.

Ah I see what you're up to when we are not watching dear Michele...lol! just kidding. I love this. Fine composition, I can't decide which one I like best but I think the second one is better since it shows more of the water, it adds more of a mood to "your" love shack ;)

YES !! I definitely wish the shack were a 'love shack' haha!! but I am such a romantic as well & at this time a bit lonely :(( still some day :)
I would definitely have looked into the shack but it was accross the river and too cold for swimming sooooo maybe later in the summer time...I am nosey this way too :))

very nice, of course that building MUST be placed as you put it into the frame, NEEDED to be on the side, so first very good element here, secondly is the lighting that is brighter there it NEEDS! and darker ALSO there it needs, after all these (plus that I love ruinnes in buildings as a subject) makes a beautiful image!

Great shack shot my dear Michele...I think I would prefer the second one.More sharpness and claritey and the lighting is better..but that's only my opinion!!!

I like YOUR shack Michele. Go there often? lol. As a composition, i like your other one better. Even though the sorry, your shack:)) is the subject, there is a few things to be seen. In the 2nd one everything is in proportion if you know what i mean. In the first one, i find the little bit of water at bottom to be a distraction. Im being picky seeing you asked lol.
