kekeke sorry old son... yeah just a grimy shot through the windscreen with my crappy phone cam.. evokes memories for me too. I was a clerk with the (then) DMR NSW.. I was with a small hotmix batching plant paving the Hume Hwy just north of Holbrook. It was called the Mobile Asphalt Unit, one day we had left a I high edge on the northbound land which had to be fixed before we left for the day.. it was about 5.00pm and not a lot of light around there I was a clerk conscripted into a road gang in an attempt to get the job finished it was a case of all hands to the pumps, out on the Highway with a stop go bat.. man many's the semi that bore down on the gang which when it got to the first man in the gang (me) would then immediately start to accelerate away through the gang and on... gave me a healthy respect for the size of a fully laden semi.. and a never ending respect for stop go bat boys nowadays I slow to and hold the 40KMH limit.. out of respect and memory of that evening which scared the cr*p out of me

As a ex interstate driver, this pic makes me tired. No offence meant. Its just the thought of all those headlights and traffic. Im glad i dont do that anymore. Great shot Roger. Cheers Keith:)
