Then your father had undoubtfully built-in skills for design and photography, Visar! Exactly this is the very very main element of any design in arts. Space! Each and every top designer will say: "Allow much space to work." So I try to use it and to make it tangible on the images. (Which I don't quite get most of the time. :-D)

Thank you very much for the nice, detailed comment. There are many kinds of "free" space. I guess that the spatial relation of the bird dummies between each other and between them and their shadows generates that perception of the space in which they are "flying". So I think the same like you on this one.

Thanks again and all the best!

Nick

i shall tell you what my father told me once, 'if you know how to use the space, you'll enrich your soul'. that is to justify myself on the following statment, that i am not dignosed as claustrophobic- that is because i love many cities- but in fact i like more open spaces; say, if i were given the chance to choose between a house upon a hill and a nice house in the city- i'd choose the first.

here we have an excellent observation of shadow or light play. the highlightened area is so beautifully centered, and the darkened areas in the building give me that heavy feeling of exhaustion of air/ space- whithout which one would not get to even see what could be like these shadows, these dazzling shadows.

regards,
v.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Luis! The scene itself confused mit too at that time as the light games made it hard to see what is real and what is a shadow. I am glad that you like it for this.

Cheers!
