Thank you for your visit dear Kevin, truly appreciated your opinion ... this was specific situation where somebody attacked me without obvious reason, UF members noticed that and stood up against unpoliteness and rude manners ... and I am grateful on their human reaction.
We are all here for learning and giving or getting constructive comments and criticise in order to improve ourselves ... not to generate them ...

dont get me wrong .I have looked at all your work (which is exelant)What gets me is this (in my opinion is as bad as you would ever get and look at the views and comments it has generated.I will say again your work is great but in my opinion this just does not merrit the comments ect it has generated

I can understand, Srna, this is a different nature of a comments, personally have always stick to a plain structural critic, you do have a good point but in general some flip completely and distracted from the volume of you received comments, which are kind and in times have nothing to do with your presentations they’re your friends and they don't want to disappoint you.. They love you :) So my friend that I thing is triggering not only in your gallery but in many other = POPULARS, so it has been a type of a pattern that obviously anything they post its 7+++++ or what ever….it is very rare to rare to see a critic against of 50 or more positive comments, it makes others to be afraid of posting
Their opinion or suggestions! Srna, this is the other side of the coin in times painful but I know you’re fair person…honestly the most fair from any of the populars:):):):)some of your works are much better in comparison with the POPULARS!

Well my dearst sweet Srna, ok I just read the back and forth comments.. Perhaps it seems very difficult to get over this but it is not impossible. i will not ask you to just put all this behind, it is such hard situations that give special people like you the strength and not put them down.
There are many ways to spread love, Interaction and compassion throughout the world, you do that with your lovely friendly great words and images. you are an amazing person that should not stop creating, just keep on doing that, because even professionals need humanitarian, kindness, and warm words.. we never excel unless we struggle, So Srna keep on doing it regardless of negative feedback and remember: We cannot do great things on this earth. plus UF is like a 'gathering of friends'.As Shirley said some of us who leaves comment to you are very skilled photographers BUT that`s not enough without the compassion
and kindness.Some of your images are truly exceptional as I
told you before,some are in your own particular style where your 'heart' dictate what you do.
I know it will very difficult to get over this but remember 'time is a great healer'.Go over what happened,analyse it and draw strength from your friends.
Leaving UF because of this would be a shame.

Well dear Srna, there are many ways to spread love and cheer throughout the world, you do that with your kinds words and images. Just keep on doing what you do and disregards these bumps in the road. I completely agree with Alain, and many others here, time to move on to something positive and uplifting...don't let a few unnecessary words on paper disrupt your life or God forbid your photography!! ok I just read the back and forth comments diagonaly. Made me smile finally altough I understand you're pissed off by this! But keeping up this whole discussion brings no gain at all.
I think one important point has been forgotten to be mentioned and that is the main reason why photo's are being posted here. Because we like or love photography and we want to show what we proudly made. There are a lot of things I see here that I don't realy like but I'm adult enough not to give negative comments. Always try to be constructive. When constructive comments are useless I just don't comment at all, leaving the photographer in his or her dignity.
So Srna the conclusion is very simple : if you like what you're doing just keep on doing it regardless of negative feedback.
I have spoken....and now back to happy life :)

Whoever you are, I'm just now jumping into the fray...not knowing previously that this was going on.
If you had been paying attention, my critique to Srna was not just all lovey-dovey. But I DO love Srna as a friend, and am concerned for her health and the stress this is putting on her. She nearly died recently, and we are SO grateful that she is back.
If you look at the work of myself and many others in this forum, you will see that many of us are accomplished photographers, posting excellent work. However, none of us is perfect, and all of us can use improvement. But many of us are also here for the warmth of the community.
Sometimes being 'right' is not good enough. Sometimes being kind is more important.
So why are you so bitter? That is no way to gain friends. Please stop and reassess your life, and leave dear Srna alone.

All what you have done in order to help me (Mr.X) you have insulted me with your rudeness and impoliteness and your attacks are of a very bitter and harsh man. You stressed me and hurt me so very much ... may I ask why ?!
If you do not like my work all you had to do is to point out what you do not like and what I have to do to improve, but your words were terribly offensive, nothing more.
And yes, I do remember you ... once you were so very nice and a kind man who left a few constructive and very clever critiques and in this way you have helped me a lot. Thank you once again for this honorable and humanity gesture.
And please, just ask your self one thing, where are all these people from my hug and kissing club these days … where are they … why they did not stood up to fight for me when we are here just for hugs and kisses ... Before you continue to embarass yourself, I should point out that if you click "Damnimgood" and then click Critiques FROM "Damnimgood" . . . you can see everything "Damnimgood" has said. Naturally, it takes no time at all to see "Damnimgood" (who you now say is using the computer WITH you as a work computer) also signs your name. Shocker, eh? Even on this very thread "Damnimgood" signed off as JR.
Incidentally, posting a comment on a public thread is not talking behind someone's back. Obviously you got the message.
It's one thing to be wrong, angry and embarassed . . . but you're now also guilty of upsetting Srna so much she's thinking of withdrawing from UF. She has had recent medical issues and we who like her were so happy to get her back. She's unable to handle the drama. So will you choose to selfishly stay with your lies and drive this innocent person away? How low can a person go? I'll wait to see.

Hi Keith,
You have the effrontery to call D gutless but you insult him behind his back!!!! I thought that this thread was over with and here you go starting it up again!!! And for your information and for that matter, Doyle’s, who I may add, made the erroneous assumption that he made two comments in two different names. WRONG!!!!! Yes the comments came from the same address (how he found out is anyone’s guess????) but have you ever heard of a place called work!!!!!! D, is in fact, one of my work colleagues, so get your facts (you and Doyle) straight before you point the finger of condemnation because there is usually three pointing back at you my friend!!!
And as a matter of interest…where is your critique on Srna’s picture. Please don’t bother to write back to me..I find the whole thing is totally ridiculous, all these people making a storm in teacup. They are judging her photo’s from the heart and not with their eyes.

Dear Srna, I respect what you do and couldn't agree more with Keith's word. I don't need to be a veteran to understand about style and I appreciate yours as it is unique to yourself. You're very talented so please don't let these words bother you, I know it is hard not to get hurt but you have people here who really care about you and admire your work. I am one of them.

Courtesy!! for who???Only for Srna!! standards my friend, standards, 1 2 3...or more, And this comes from the man who has "never" hijacked someone's pictures or forums. Pull the other one, it's got bells on it, but then you already knew that already, Doyle.
Think long and hard about some of the information you have shared with me, that's where i get my facts from, not just this incident, but 2 or 3 situations before this. So me mistaken, definitely not, and that's a fact.

If this site were part of some major group I would have without hesitation have laid a complaint, that my privacy has been violated.

Good question Michele! As it happens we seem to have an inactive staff. Normally, I would have you move this to the Post Bugs string, but the last three comments there have not been responded to either. One of them leaves advertising SPAM on our site! Maryanne Murillo, for example, has renewed her membership AND she and I have both sent her receipts in . . . which, combined with my persoanl e-mails have fallen on deaf ears. While she paid, she enjoys no benefits from paying and can upload only one image per day.
Additionally, after 5 years on this site . . . I too renewed and . . . shocker . . . just received a notice that I need to pay to continue as a donor . . . although I'm quite certain it wouldn't work even if I paid again. In two days I will be block from all the benefits of Donor status. If you recall, recently, Phillip Minnis had the same issue . . . with a friend. And Ann is an amazing photographer. What a waste that even the chance of losing some of these people is happening.

Now lets talk about this issue of caring. Doyle here on UF we share words and pieces of our mind with fellow UF's,and thats how we bash things out but when I signed up and had the choice to remain an Unaligned and anon that was my right and a right to privacy. You breached that fundamental right of mine, and raised the issue of access to information. On that same issue all my personal info that i shared with UF, is now at your disposal and who knows who else's, does this not put the privacy of ALL UF members at risk, For example knowing my name and where i live, which at this point is quiet frightening, that to me is the ethical part.

If you don't like their warm fuzzy club then don't step in. It's really just that simple.
You seem upset that people are all patting each other on the back and not critiquing or helping each other . . . while letting other great shots go by without their earned 7 ratings. And yet, you're HERE and not on the others you seem to think deserve a 7? But Why?
It may interest you to know that there are many people from many places here and they're here for many reasons. It may also interest you to know that I have made comments to these warm/fuzzy club members that are not the "Great shot 7+++++++++" but actual critiques and advice . . . and well thought out advice at that! I certainly have been known to drop a long winded, nit-picky critique where I thought I might be able to help. I seem to have missed you constructive help here. You seem to think Srna's shot could be improved . . . but that wasn't what you were doing here, right? Instead of helping her improve her shot to your standards or with you thoughts, you chose to (more or less) attack all of the people who DO comment . . .
Sometimes it gets a bit dull to put time, effort and love into images only to have 20 people come along and nit pick them all apart. Sometimes it does some good for people to hear something encouraging so that they continue to enjoy the site, the field of photography and the idea that they can improve. So you make the kind of friends you need to balance your experience on this site. Some (like me) who have a tendency to give REAL suggestions and advice . . . and some who give the pats on the back and help people to not toss the camera and just say "I'll never get it right".
I can say that signing in with two accounts just so you can be rude twice is not only unethical . . . but it says something about why you have so few pictures. I'd recommend you worry less about the people you think aren't improving or find a way to be kind and actually help them improve. Or do you think that your comment does anything more to bring about the improvement you think is warranted than any other comment? The only difference, of course . . . is your comment is not helpful AND it's likely to hurt feelings. Not a good comment to make . . . and lacking in class.

I notice that this is your first visit to Srna's pics, and we all know why, so no bullsh*#@ting here. Now all of a sudden you have great interest in this pic, of all pics. So have you migrated here for the Hugs and kisses too or are you here touting views for your works.I have yet to see a TRUE constructive comment on ANY of Srna's pictures from which she can actually learn , like you and many others have pointed out.

Is that a scar there on your mouth...? I can't figure out where to look. I agree with Shirley, the background is dominating the attraction because I think everything is blurry, and that object outweighs the other textures..

Perhaps some indication of why you want to "bring this to an end"? After all, Srna is posting photographs and thereby inviting constructive comments, from which she may well indeed learn. Well my dear Michele, I do read the words "Learning" in your comment, sadly You and many other photog's have for a very long time misled Srna, in your efforts just to remain friends and naturally to get the views and ratings on your own work, Sure you bunch are friendly with all the "Hugs hugs " & "kiss kiss" all the time its no wonder you lots don't have the heart to give Srna some positive crit, just nice words. Can you honestly say that every picture and go back and look honestly, that the 7+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ that you so freely dish out, are helpful to her, or like i said just being nice, so which is it to be, helpful or nice. So much talent here on UF going un-noticed, and material from which you and the likes can "Learn" from yet you stay in this small confined group, oblivious of the going on's around you. Hello my dearest Srna ...I like this thought provoking series here of 'Beginings' as there is always an 'Ending' or change like how the catapillar changes to the butterfly-- I see you fading from one existance to another in this series ... I see the start, the hope, and the change .... of course this is only my perception and we all have our own but I do like your images that tell a story for each of us ..and I would not chqange a thing ..This is ART and so creative !!!
