About Another one as a complement of the series "Water" which proves to be another never ending story. How could the exposure be corrected in order to raise the contrast between the rocks and the water but leaving the lighting almost unchanged? Any comments/ideas would be very welcome.

I missed a good contrast of the rocks against the water, Gustavo :-(

But thanks a lot for the nice comment!

Thanks a lort for the suggestions and all the help, Linda! I am inlcined to say that HDR would work better than bracketing. I did bracket here but the result was a uniform raising/lowering of the lighting in all regions at the same time, which doesn't raise contrast.

Or I must search the market for a film with a wider dynamics range and yet the same sensitivity.

Thanks again and best wishes!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Aykaan! I didn't think of those elements of life, but now that say... well, yes it makes much sense.

Cheers!

Un muy buen contraluz, de justa exposición.

Hmmmm...well what about the HDR process, take a shot exposing for the darks, lights, and mid-tones and merge them? The other way would be to bracket and in order to keep that light and increase the contrast between the rocks and the water, I think you'd need to bracket in a wider range.

Good questions Nick...this is great. I love these lessons. Love those trees on the horizon too!!

Kind regards!! :) :)
