The growth of the plants through the wire, along with the title is very suggestive of your idea, Nick, as the others have suggested! The b/w adds to that sense, as well.

Wonderful composition Nick, I think the focus on the wire is good too, I think the if this the subject you wanted to show and not the silhouette of the grass.
I like it as it is with the focus on the wire. The wire is well seen in spite of the bright background..
