About I don't know if the focus on the fence was a good or a bad thing here. It looks quite strange to me. So, I'd be very interested to read your comments/critiques/suggestions.

Flights in the blues

On the edge

When shadows show the way

Approaching evening under clouds

The hotel and the bridge

Night silver and the ferry

Before the white arrival

A mapping

Peak after peak

Electric snakes over the void

Indeed melancholic I guess.

Thank you very much for the nice comment, Dave!

It is always good when the own intention and the message has been seen through.

Best wishes,

Nick

An important composition, with sad monochrome gradient. Plants and wire texture are remarkable.
Good work.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the description of the metaphore, Gustavo! It was almost what was going in my mind when I shot that.

Cheers,

Nick

Thank you very much for the nice and in depth going comment, Bobot! Indeed, catching the wire was not easy in front of that background. And I am glad that you also find the wire more important in accordance to the intention.

All the best,

Nick

The growth of the plants through the wire, along with the title is very suggestive of your idea, Nick, as the others have suggested! The b/w adds to that sense, as well.
Dave.

I agree with most of the comments in terms of the focus on the fence Nick, but I also think it would be interesting to see it the other way...I esp. agree with Fabio in terms of the title...well done!! :)

Muy buena!, flores creciendo sobre los alambrados, la encuentro una imagen poderosa y de intensas metáforas...
Felicitaciones!

Wonderful composition Nick, I think the focus on the wire is good too, I think the if this the subject you wanted to show and not the silhouette of the grass.
I like it as it is with the focus on the wire. The wire is well seen in spite of the bright background..
great shot!
cheers!
