This is a nice habitat because it is a sort of island with a moat and a high wall separating the lioness from the visitors. I assure you that the length of my lens makes her seem closer than she really is (but I'll bet you knew that already).

Thanks Srna. This was a lucky shot, I was snapping away at her lapping up the water, and she just looked up and stared at me.
Now that the weather's getting warmer, I hope to spend more time playing with my camera equipment -- I mean taking serious photographs ;-).
