It depends if people are animal lovers or not!You are knowing your daughter and if she is like you she never will be bored I guess!!!I understand you so very well!!! The best on our trips is to meet people and to see animals in wild!!I like to goo at the zoo here in Europe but when I have the possibility to see them at the wild I want to see them!!I hope fpr you that you go one time to Alaska...so very beautiful and so many wildlife too!!!!!!!It's never the same..sometimes you can see a scene that it perhaps not very nice,but it's the nature!!

Etosha was amazing, isn't it? The dry and grey athmosphere and stones, dust, and then all of a sudden these creatures showing up, I would have loved to jump out of the car, what I will do one day I think...loll But was close enough for now, I feel really homesick for Africa, feel more depressed at home, not having more sun! But I will try to get there In June with my daughter Charlotte, it will be her first time over there...hope she will like it as much as I do:) I would love to show her around and stay there for at least an hour...loll But the point is that most people get bored soon, don't you think so? Like after one elephant they have seen them all.....;))

This picture is sooo amazing!!I love to see elephants and the little one is to cute!!This one is so very good captured and it brings me great memories back too
We stayed 4 days at Etosha...and I could stay for hour at a waterhole..LOL!!I guess you too!!!

I adore elephants, my favorite of the African animals...this one is really adorable, it almost seems as if they've had a disagreement...haha, that baby is probably a teenager...just kidding, great sharpness, nice light and details, very well captured!! :)

There were some couples of moms and baby's, this was such a cute frame, was just lucky they came all in, as it was getting suppertime..:)Hopefully they have more water now, it was very dry before!

Molto grazie Alida, have been several times now in Nambia and it still amazes me how wildlife is about there, hundreds of km's to run and walk for these creatures, so its always great luck to find them;) This was a big group, will show more later! Enjoy your weekend, xxJen

Lieve Riny, vanaf mijn 21e reis ik al door Afrika, inmiddels ben ik...uhmm...51:) Nog steeds niet uitgeraasd..lol Mijn grote droomreis was vanaf Holland naar Kaapstad, dat is dus 3 jaar geleden gebeurd, dat was met een auto en met z'n tweeen, niet een geheel succes, maar ik heb dan ook nu geleerd dat met wie heel belangrijk is!! Verder reis ik vrijwel altijd alleen, je ontmoet zoveel mensen onderweg! Mijn reis ging door: Europa, Turkije, Syrie, Jordanie, Egypte, Sudan, Ethiopie, Kenia, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibie en Zuid-Afrika. Very tough trip, maar ook geweldig! Daarna zit ik zeker jaarlijks nog in Zuid-Afrika, Namibie etc ben eraan verknocht:)
Verder ben ik in Rusland geweest en Australie, Nieuw Zeeland zou ik nog graag willen -heb daar ook vrienden. Deel van Noord-Amerika, Suriname, Frans Guyana, Curacao gezien, dus niet zoveel aan die kant helaas! In Azie alleen Singapore, ik weet niet of ik daar ooit verder kom:) Mijn gezondheid is niet geweldig.. Maar...ga vooral...wacht niet te lang met alles, geniet meis!! Een van mijn grote dromen is om later de hele werled rond te trekken... 2 reizen wil ik gaan uitvoeren:
Van China naar het zuiden trekken, via zuid-oost Azie naar Indonesie, en Guinea, om vervolgens een paar jaar te blijven (en rond te trekken) in Australie, en dan naar Nieuw Zeeland en de eilandjes daar als Samoa en Fiji.
En een andere reis wil ik gaan maken van Canada naar Zuid-Brazilie via midden-amerika. Met als Hoofddweg de Pan-American Highway.
Het zal heel hard sparen worden, maar het is dan ook een grote droom voor me. :)
Dus nu de vraag: Heb je ooit wel eens rondgetrokken door een werelddeel? Zo ja, wat zijn je ervaringen? Wat (bijv. welke landen) was positief en wat negatief?
En ben je misschien in de landen geweest die ik op noemde? (ik ben vooral op zoek naar mensen die in landen zijn geweest als Paraguay, Nicaragua, Guinea of een ander exotisch 3e wereldland die op de route ligt)
Of heb je soms ook een droom om een lange tocht te gaan maken? zoja waar heen?
Ben benieuwd naar de verhalen. :) Riny
