Thanks a lot for the great idea, Visar! I see exactly what you mean and indeed, that would make it look much more "active".
So that's what they mean when they say "playing on the cutting edge"! ;-)
Cheers,
Nick

ahoy Nick,
my idea about this design is that i would not put these two bright stripes in the upper part but rather adjust them in the lower part, there where they are- moving them a bit to the right so that that stripe that starts on the lower left and continues right upward not to pass through the magnet!! -- that way you would have a 'two sword like crossing' design! and thus, have a 'samurai guitar player' who'd cut the legs or hearts of those listening to him! ;)
cheers, v.

Yes, certainly I messed that shuttle in upper centre of the original, Ian! What a pity! I guess I was too absorbed by the crossing stripes on the bottom of it. :-(
Thanks a lot for the nice and detailed comment, and even more for noticing that important part!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Aykaan!
Well, since photography happens to contain the word "light" in its first component, I guess that a healthy portion of obsession for light is the special kind of insanity of us all ;-)
Best wishes,
Nick

I think you've missed out the best bit, the speeding coal shuttle in the mine shaft in the upper centre of the original.
