About Nearly 10 years ago Eli (then 12) fabricated a model Tee Pee for a 4-H project. The great thing is... she was only 12... and yet she decorated it in traditional Native American style. Eli loves cats... so the "hunters" on the Tee Pee were depicted as cats. And they hunted... birds. What else? She also made the arrows red (signifying 'killing') and even kept true to the harsh "line" etchings of early, primitive American art. I don't know where she got her cleverness from... but, where-ever the inspiration... it made for a great bit of "art" lying about my house.
