About Here's another treatment from a mini-session I had last summer. Vic was seriously late and we shot for about 15 minutes before I had to get back to work.

Paul -- The model's attitude combined with the post-processing finishing make this quite powerful; love the way you treated the skin tones and the way you worked the background in. Lots of visual impact and not just a "glam" shot. I really like this one!

You mean... you had only 15 minutes with that girl? Sshhhhh... on the one side I envy your possibilities, on the other side... only 15 goddamned minutes? ;-)

OK, seriously now, your scope couldn't be more perceivable, really. But I get confused about the "treshold layer". What is this, Paul? I am eager to know since I really would like to have more insight about such sessions, but me ignorant guy.. you know, I don't have a clue what that could be...

Cheers,

Nick

Thanks for spotting that, Nick. I really adjusted a threshold layer to get most detail out of her coat.

I had scoped out this wall downtown and told her to wear a bold primary color top, and she showed in this. We shot about 45 shots in a mere 15 minutes, and I left.

A very good shot with the absolutely fitting background for that oufit, Paul! And considering the outfit itself, this time it is not as much the texture of the fabric that hits my eyes but rather its games with light - especially of course the green shirt/jacket. And what a nice combination of shirt and jacket it is, I must add here too!

Your attitide seems to me to be a bit retro this time. Any explicit intentions, or is it only what just came to you by shooting?

Nick

great attractive pose, you right the desat colors merged her well into the bg but she still separates enough as the subject. Cheers, NJ

I normally agree with you, Rashed.

In this shot, I was pushing contrast, and adding more edges and reducing her saturation just a bit.
I wanted her to be graffiti, too.

Although I like this image, still I have to say that, there is a major different between softning a model face and bluring it to this limit, looks very fuzzy face.

All of the best

powerfull pose Paul... I like that pose, classic one but always great and of course a great model to, very good 'wild' background that works with your model.
best regards!
