Hi Leo

Thanks for all the supportive comments! I don't have internet at home these days and it is hard to keep up with all of you out there at the moment.
As to the cropping i agree. the problem with this shot was that as we were speeding around on a Zodiac there were only seconds to compose and shoot images, never mind know which camera to use at any given point. The shots were instinctive, so this one, i had the bottom composed but unfortunately the top was cropped more then i wanted. If i took the top off completely it ended up feeling flatter then i felt i wanted...so it is a compromise, for better or for worse...lol...thanks again buddy! If you ever make it to the Antarctic it will be a life changing experience in my opinion...it was for me....well worth the $$$$!!!! So i am off to Alaska this fall to play with the bears!....ha- ha

Amazing shot!!!!I really like it... I would have toned the blue highlights down in the background ice, just found my eye being led there. Thats just my view though

Truly magnetising. Captured the imagination as well as reality. One of the best pictures of Antarctica I've come across!

Wow! What an amazing photo. It's so interesting how clear the water is, even though it looks so dark.
