Yes dear Ian both your guesses are correct,because for some time we were being introduced to the same taste of colors as yours and then since we had no paint of our own we had to bye from the same world dominating paint dye providing corporation that provided yours:)!

sorry Baha, such an enugmatic comment.
\The point is though I am surprised at this familiarity.
I've seen this blue and green and yellow in a lot of old buildings and over a lot of rusting hinges.
A charming old build colour combination. I have happy associaitons with it because it reminds me of recycling its wood for something else.
Surprises me that maybe in our countries in the same era there was the same taste in colours ( or there was one world dominant paint dye providing corporation).
