About In the middle of the night in Zurich, and so I wondered, what's the use of the many lights if there is simply no real night life in this place?

Oh, and not to forget! They'd say, they have their jobs on next morning at precisely 6:30, as if quality of work really depended on the time of the day at which one does it. ;-)

Not exactly horizontal but still I think that this one resembles that kind of absence of humans in some way.

Any comments would be very welcome

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Dave!

I'd wish that more souls would be there and see it since it was only about 23:30 and the so called "city" was already deserted.

All the best,

Nick

Many many thanks for the nice and detailed comment, Gustavo! I guess I should have used a longer exposure for avoiding the dominance of the reddish hues? The details are covered by that reddish glow that somehow softens the focus.

But there must also have been camera motion, since it was a long exposure and I just fixed the camera as good as I could on the railing of the bridge, where I was standing. It got better than I thought, but there is nothing as good as a tripod for such long exposures. I'll have to retry that once more.

Thanks a lot and all the best,

Nick

You've still captured a slice of the city and it's reflection here, Nick, at time no one usually sees it.

Una muy interesante toma nocturna, muy buenos los reflejos, aunque yo la encunentro un poco movida o desenfocada, y tal vez demasiado virada al rojo para mi gusto...

Un abrazo!
