This one is very welcome and refreshing change of the typical macro of a flower. We don't have simple "beauty" here, we have idea and composition too. Perhaps a bit overexposure/soft focus of the details of the petal texture, but the way their contours come out of the darkness is very appealing! And I guess that this softness is exactly what makes the flower look so unusual compared to other more usual macros.
