On the same graffiti work as on the image "The tempting clowness". And in my suggestive thinking it is... big fish eats small fish. Much like what happens on this earth too, and especially in international politics. The laws of nature, isn't it? And who cares about rights, about the very ideas that could raise human beings *beyond* nature. *Beyond* the right of the strongest that is exactly what happens in nature, and what most of the nature lovers do never consider.
Let's get a glimpse of what happens when that unlimited blind love turns to way of social life. The weak are left alone and die, the strong rule for their own will, any oppresion and any crime against opposers are quite normal. Especially directed to all those too "romantic girlies" that still tell us of the "beauty of nature" and at the same time demand their (undoubtfully given) rights - Contradiction!!!!! There be your nature. The right of the stronger and thus also raping is everyday reality out there!!!
So, that's what I have to find "beautiful"? Sorry, I have another impression of what is human.
Any comments would be very welcome - especially when argueing ones!! ;-)
I also find the graffiti works of that guy very impressive. It has been exactly that texture on the wall that helped me focus much better than on the other ones on flat walls.
I think that this time it was a technical advantage to have such a strongly textured wall, since it made focusing much easier. Flat walls proved to be such a problem to me for focusing really sharply. Perhaps you have any idea how to do that without measuring distances and the like?
As about interpretations about social and political life, well Dave, I must admit that I would wish more discussions about that, though I know that it won't happen so easily because of the certain wish to stay "peaceful" - some kind of "fear" that it could evolve to a flame.
It's a good thing to keep things as peaceful as possible in this forum, but still I think that they could remain peaceful also indluding some more discussions of anything in the peripheral zone of photography. The only thing to be kept in mind is that sincerity and directness in a verbally carried out "fight" does not imply any will to insult anybody - and that it stands much higher than simply "agreeing automatically" just for the fun of it.
Quite the contrary. It is much more trusting that one shows, that the own words will be taken as an open description of the own views and at the same time as willingness to hear what other people say.
Or else, we all all remain "islands" on this planet. Perhaps sunny and beautiful, but still there are deep waters that divide us. And all the results of this kind of "division".
I like your reproduction of this one, Nick, you've caught the image and the texture very well. I'll leave the interpretations of these to others, though! Dave.
