About	This cow had been dead for over 2 months when I found it. The lower jaw was completely gone and no jaw bones in sight. The innerds had been eaten but the meat had not been touched. Once I described the cows conditiont to an old time rancher he said he knew what killed the cow. It was struck by lightning. There were big thunderstorms and lightning just about then. He said he has seen it happen before the cow is down grazing in the moisture and lightning strickes him or nearby and it blows off the lower jaw. First I thought that the Aliens had struck again but lightning made more sense.

Now that's a Great 'about' Ernie...Your story makes for an interesting photo...And I have to admit, the old time rancher's theory about the Lightning sure does make sense and is plausible...But your first gut feeling about the Aliens striking and all seems like a good theory too...
Anyways...Thanks for sharing...

Extraordinary... truly amazing. I've been struck by lightning too... sheet lightning. One moment I was walking through a field, the next I was flat on my back feeling like I'd been thumped by someone. However my jaw is still in one piece, unlike the cow's.
