not quite sure what you are saying but I think all (sensitive) people respond to landscape in the same way dont they.. dreams down under for me translates to working in a harsh bright environment lots of strong contrast and very boring (on the superficial level) looking landscape I think it makes us keener to see the beauty...

except that this one is a bit further north kekeke what it does prove though is the similarity between the look of Italian cities and towns.. the same as everywhere else in the world everyone is either keeping up with the Joneses or too scared to deviate from the norm kekeke

It's like we european sons are hardwired to respond to this landscape aren't we?
My brother was in Rome a couple of years ago. Trippy seeing his shots. I thought dreamlike, but it was real. The source of our dreams down under.
Can't explain that to a euro, surely.
