About While driving to the next place for a meeting a strange thought came into mind about the usual things that were told there. Cheap tricks to convince us about the good planing and the importance of what the bank wanted to do. But it was only running on empty, misunderstandings and disorganisation of something that got out of control because everything had to be only fast. I tried to make an image with much machinery using underexposure to get that situation depicted in a somewhat symbolical way. Any comments would be highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for the nice and detailed comment, Dave!

Actually the frain ic much coarser on the original, which I like very much, but the downsizing of course makes it smaller.

All the best,

Nick

Errm, it was underexposure - not overexposure, Olga Melissa. And the grain comes mainly because of that underexposure, yes.

Well, about the grain - not noise! - I like it way to make some image feel old, aged. Much like a magnification of a photo on newspapers that carries also some documentary character without much words. It was certainly a bit of annoyance too, but that kind of silent annyance mixed up with much of facing a nonsensical truth, much of despair if you wish.

Many many thanks for your comment that comes again quite surprising to me. Again I have to re-think.

All the best,

Nick

Regardless of the motivation for this image, Nick, I like the silhouetting lines, squares and angles against the sky. The slight graininess adds to the image, too.
Dave.

The overexposure makes the picture have noise , which is exactly what you wanted to depict, noise and a bit of annoyance I guess???Well done once more.
