Thanks for the visit, Priscilla. The white spot on this one is an overexposed brilliantly lit cloud. Again, use of HDR in PS2 might obviate this. taken at Dudley Farm, about 15 miles west of Gainesville. Anson

Sometimes my focus in the IR mode is not the best, but is a camera problem and not mine. I am so pleased you singled this image out, Henrik, as it has always been a favorite of mine. Regards. Anson

Very good Anson! The IR gives it a special look. I'm glad you didn't fall into the trap of giving it a soft focus.

The use of IR images allows one to produce a more "dreamy" image than conventional images, Mehul, if you get a little lucky. Thanks so much for stopping. Anson

You are too generous, mark, but thanks anyway. Just getting back to doing more photography after some time off from it, and it still is a joy to do. Will try to post some more soon. Anson

My wife won't even go on a shoot with me because of the disordinate amount of time I take in locating my subject, composing, etc., Adam. You have some beautiful landscapes in your portfolio, by the way. Thanks for stopping to comment. Regards. Anson

I feel your pain (and joy)...I shoot with a Hoya filter as well. It's one of those things best done alone. If my girlfriend is with me when I'm shooting IR, things have the tendancy to get a bit tense. :)

Thanks ever so much, Adam. I enjoy making IR images very much, even though a little tedious without a converted camera. Regards. Anson

Hoya is the name of the manufacturer which makes the filter, and the model number is R72. It is and infrared filter, allowing only very long wavelength light to pass through to the sensor. Because the internal filter cuts out much of the IR radiation long exposures with a tripod must be used, Kiarang. Anson

Stitching these 3 images together, yazeed, didn't seem to interfere with their clarity or color reproduction. Thanks for the nice comment. Anson

This image was made on a fully preserved primitive farm, that is now owned by the State of Florida, and is managed by the Department of Environmental Protection. It has costumed employees, a full array of animals, and a functioning harvesting operation. I can't seem to get away from the place, Maurizio. So happy you like this image. Anson

My goal was to reproduce as closely as possible the look of hand tinted BW photos that were very popular in the 1920s and 1930s in the US, particularly in the south, while still retaining, if possible the depth and clarity, Gary. I have another version of this image in my hard drive that is much less color saturated; just a touch of reds and oranges. So happy you took the time to comment, Gary. It makes the effort worth while. Anson

I'm not usually a fan of IR photography but hey, credit where it's due, this image has a wonderful clarity and sense of depth. Reminds me of a cene from an old movie. If this were my image, I wouldn't change a thing.
Regards, Gary

Not as stunning as some of your mystical images, Kiarang, but I will accept the compliment. Some experiments with a new Hoya filter. Please visit again. Regards. Anson

This was taken at midday through a Hoya R72 IR filter, Andre. Some color manipulation in PS. I didn't intend to cut the cart off, but just needed for field of view to get the trees in the picture. Regards. Anson

Thanks you, Simone, for such a flattering comment. I was trying out a new filter for IR and it seems to work just fine. Please visit again. Regards. Anson

Thanks for stopping and commenting, Muzamil. This image was made today by stitching 3 frames, taken vertically, together. The bright object above the shop is actually an intensely white cloud. Filter used was a Hoya R72. Regards. Anson
