About This was shot near Half Moon Bay on Christmas day in 1996. This is a Nude beach, and they do not allow cameras. Fortunately that day they were closed and there was no one at the beach. This beach is on way to San Francisco on Highway 1. I used Cokin filters, and modified colors further in PS, and applied NeatImage software to remove grain..

Such a poetic image Subha , very peaceful. I could see it hung in a bedroom so you could look at it as you drifted off to sleep . Zzzzzz.

Thank you for viewing my work and the Vinca and telling me of another lady who photographs flowers !! I already know and have commented on her work !!!

Magical colours, beautiful expressions of motion, an overall calming photo. That takes work!

While I appreciate your comments, DO NOT leave messages on my photos asking me to view your portfolio. You will find that this just annoys people, me especially.

Hi, Subha!

Thanks for following my work. You made a very beautiful one again! Your colour choice is perfect as usual. My only repair could be composition. I feel there is excess of elements on the left side (the rocks) and the right side was left empty. I like the waves partialy blurred. A very good shot!!

About your comments on my latest, I must agree with you at many levels. I think my title is not good at all. Let me explain: She was shy about being naked for that shot (and insecure too). I think this was in my mind when I was trying to find a good title and so I forgot to look carefully at her expression in the picture. I really thank you for your tips. They are very usefull, but sometimes they are not so easy to do, since she is my girlfriend and this has both sides. The good one is that we trust each other very much. The bad one is that sometimes our emotional level (mine and hers) doesn't allow us to get the right mood or attitude during a photo shot. We must work on this. Thanks a lot,

Marcelo.

Subha,

First, thanks for your comment on my flower image.

Ok...I think this photo is intersting. It kinda reminds me of the movie "The Never Ending Story." The reds and purple really draws my eye. I'm a novice photographer, and I'm curious about what a Cokin filter does? Otherwise, I like the photo, very vivid.

Too bad the beach was closed... you have captured this mood very nicely. Remembering how chilly the weather can be in the Bay Area, the color tones you have skillfully created are accurate to fulfill this thought. Excellent use of motion and color control. Regards, Rik

Beautiful work with a nice range of tones. well done. ( you are right... a lot of people look, but they don't make critics.. that for me has to do a lot with objectives.... as well as I noticed that a lot of people don't stay. I wrote on that
giving my opinions to the administrator of this site.. but they didn't answer anything. )
