Here you created something very very special, Claudia, the grainy approach of which together with the very strong depth create a historical, almost mythical atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the shadows of the bottom part. These shadows seem to diminish the light itself on this world of ours and at the same time increase the power of light on the "holy" world of heavens. In general I don't like religiosity driven shots but this one is much more than that, as it seems to depict a neutral view of religious conviction rather than religious conviction itself. In some sense it makes visible the reasons for the chosen architecture of churches at those times of the past, but without failing to also include the more material part of it, the architecture itself.

Ciao Claudia! Vorrei cominciare dicendo che hai affrontato questa esposizione impegnativa con grande successo. Non faccio spesso delle osservazioni sulle qualità tecniche delle foto; sono di scarso interesse per me. Preferisco fare dei commenti sul modo in cui una foto mi fa sentire. Ma in questo caso, penso che la tua abilità tecnica come fotografo sia essenziale per il successo della foto. Questa chiesa è veramente un esempio magnifico dell'architettura gotica. Anche la tua foto ha una qualità simile a pellicola... ha la stessa profondità, la stessa intensità. Meravigliosa, Claudia!
