Absolutely amazing image Hakan, the MOOD IS SUPER!!! I can say spooky too...even the architecture is clear from where it is I can say that weather and that darkness plus the color gives me an idea about...go away! hahaha....excellent, amazingly spooky image.

The heavy coloring and the gothic look turn this one to quite a graphic-story-like image, Hakan, that would fit very well any fantasy novel. But above all it is still the perfect perspective and details that still leave this one in the reign of photography - creative photography without effect/filter overkill (which we see unfortunately too often elsewhere).
Only the "fog" at the front makes it a bit harder to look at.
Great achievment!

This shot conjures up all sorts of thoughts. Underneath is some wonderful Turkish architecture, but the image conveys an ominous sense of foreboding of something awful about to happen.

Hi Hakan,
great image! Those colors and the composition, with those worn wood pilars on the front, and the overall mood of it remind me of castles from the "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy. Very well done.

However, to answer your question - no, there is no such criteria. It's all based on the judges' choice.
