Cool ! Very interesting subject. I'm not really bothered by the shadow detail. It seems, though, that the 2 children on the right have collided during their jump. I mean, they overlap and there is not much tonal separation between the two of them.

you are absolutely right about the lack of details in the shadow area. I shot this image at about an hour after noon, the worst time to shoot, when the sun was high and to their back thus making the image what it is. The same shot in the morning would have improved the light.

i can only imagine how happy the kids are and how much one can be happy even with the least of means..

improvement if any in the picture may be achieved by shooting for details in the shadows..
