Wow, nice, nice shot, Dave! Love the rich red color of the Indian Paint which is positioned so nicely in the photograph. Also, the inclusion of the landscape in the distance gives this great depth. The blue sky adds to the overall colorfulness and the clean white clouds add a nice roof over the whole scene. I believe that new wide angle lens serves you well! I can't wait to get something like that myself especially since I enjoy landscape photography. I can't wait to see what new things you come up with with your new lens.... exciting stuff! :-)

I like this red flower which struggle for life in desert,and in spite of that is very beautiful and colorful :)
and I like far distance landscape...
and I like the clear blue sky with great clouds....
