OH that sounds terrific and now that you mention it, I suddenly do recognize it as ice looking much like what I see down at the fjord at wintertime with straws and oxygenebubbles under the ice.

You are really entertaining the dark side. This is one of those pieces that pulls a lot of its effect from the title. This looks like so many things at once, a real choose your own adventure piece. Nice work.

Well,I can see you want to keep us all guessing;when I read the title I really did think you'd decided make a clean break but then you write 'for the moment'!!Could this be the beginning of a new religious movement- hope not, there are far too many as there is.Waiting ,with bated(baited?)breath for your next post from the Antipodean Alps-Like in the film Carrie,I'm expecting to see a claw thrusting through the ice,at the very least!
Tony:) PS the photo is great, has a celestial feel to it.

Good realization: good colors and good contrast.
I like it.

Went on a tramp in the alps. Pools of ice are new and exciting to me Annemette of Nordsjælland, I spent a lot of time looking down! I assume the air bubbles came from photosynthesis or decay in the plants. :)

I would love to have this full-size on my wall so I could stare at it for hours:-) A drowned duck or one diving down due to the oxygenebubbles maybe? May I ask how you did this striking and suggestive image?
Best wishes
Annemette
