Hi Michele. There isn't much around for miles because it's all desert. It can be brutally hot, but sooo beautiful.

Nicely composed landscape , with rich colors, textures, and details .... It looks like there is nothing around for miles . Very nice shot Maryanne...

Very pretty landscape, dear Maryanne. Beautiful nuances of warm earth colors against the clouds. One can relate to it more, knowing that it had to with G. O'Keeffe and her paintings.
